Good fathers keep popping into my life. Another pastor/mentor friend (with whom I have decided not to share this blog) stopped in. He gave us a very ornate hand-carved gift for our kids.

I commented later to my wife, "And imagine! There are no strings attached! He just wanted to bless us!"

...of course he did. It was only funny because she knew I was referring to my parents. They have never once given a gift that did not have strings attached. But God has seen fit that I do this journey in a place with many Christian fathers, and many Chritian brothers and sisters on this journey.

These dear people are a great support to me, and a symbol of kindness from my Father in Heaven.

Restraint order: more difficult than previously thought?

But I guess it is simple enough. I will tell him to leave me alone. If he does not then I will carefully document it and may take legal action to get a restraining to force him to.

I am assuming that he won’t leave me alone unless I forced him. But who knows? Maybe he will. So no need to overthink and jump straight to the second step.
